Hello guys! I wanted to start this thread to see if anyone is applying for the LSU Care Fall 2019 program? Applications are due next month and I am super nervous about submitting, and was wondering if anyone was feeling the same or knew anyone who is currently in the program. :/

I was just accepted into the program TODAY!!! YAY! I was on cloud 9 for an hour or two then realized all of the things we have to have completed... I feel so behind compared to ya'll!!! I have started making a list of things I need to get done.

WAITLISTERS STAY HOPEFUL! It is possible!

I am thinking of the compliance training and packets required before orientation as an 'appetizer'for what is to come. Have you logged onto the castle branch site? It looks like we upload all of the health information to that site, which is a nice way to stay organized and check list what needs to be done.

How did y’all log into Castlebridge? Also, after I registered for classes, I clicked on “pay my bill” and it didn’t have anything there. Any advice? (Also, so excited to meet you all! I already love how much support and advice there is on this site☺️)

I believe our bills won't be active until later in the month. @Cec97 Also check your packet B or C it has the LSU code for to put in on castlebridge for your background check and drug test ?

What about BLS certificate? Does anyone want to complete this together? I have no clue where to get mine. I have Red Cross CPR, but we need AHA. Also, do ya'll want to start like a group chat or Facebook page?

Wednesday I am going to LSU to get uniforms, ID, Library Card, etc.

Does anyone know what the shoe requirements are as far as color. They did not specify.

It looks like in order to start a closed group you need the name of at least one other person to open the group...anyone want to send me their Facebook name and I can add them into the group? Or rather, try to add them to the group....

BLS is Basic Life Support.

You can do BLS through AHA and register to take it at ochsner elmwood. That’s where i did mine before i started working at UMC
