Hi all!
I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)
I know a confirmation email was sent out after you drop off your acceptance letter and fee. Has anyone else not gotten that email yet? I see all the info online but I just am nervous about being forgotten in the crowd haha.
don't be afraid to email them. it's best not to leave these things to chance.
Hey everyone, I've been stalking this forum through this whole process (which is the only thing that has kept me sane) but now I am back to freaking out. Priority registration is in 2 days, and i have yet to get an email about our schedules and lists of classes for us to take. Also, so much is due and I am unsure of when we needs things turned in by. I've talked to so many of my friends who tend LSU and they all say they are horrible with letting everyone know dates that things need to be turned in by. I know we have a list of forms that are due by Nov. 21st. But when does our immunization, physicals, drug tests, and things like that need to be submitted by? I am mostly concerned about not getting anything about scheduling classes. I emailed Mrs. Tracey about it today, but did anyone else receive any info on this?
im thinking that everything is due by Nov. 21st.... i just got my immunization, my TB test, Titers, and physicial done today... so im just waiting for the titer's lab results and my TB reading so that I can turn everything in on Friday.
Also I read an email about registering for classes but i dont know how to. Im so lost
If you go to lsu's homepage, go to current student, preregistration, then student registration instructions, it tells you how to schedule classes! I really do dislike how they have everything set up. I feel like it is so unorganized with no clear due dates or instructions on things; everything is in a different spot.

I'm gonna get it for the first semester for simplicity's sake; i'm in the middle of a bunch of non pre-req classes in SELU right now so i don't need even more things to worry about on top of getting all my immunizations and etc in order. I'll shop around insurances afterwards though.
I'm going to guess that they really liked me being a veteran.
