Hi all!
I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)

I will be also applying soon to enter the BSN program for the Spring 2015 semester. I am waiting to receive my official transcript so I can send it with my application. I will be taking the Hesi in June...I hope that the application process goes on smoothly for everyone:up:.
SO exciting! I have just one more class to take this summer (microbiology) and the paper to write. Did writing your personal statement take a lot of time?
I hope it goes smoothly for all of us as well! What school did you take your pre-reqs at, and have you gotten all of the classes done?
I attended D.C.C. and Tulane University for my pre-requs. Unfortunately I am not done... I am going to take Microbiology and the Art elective during the Spring. I have a Sociology course that I have already taken but I am waiting to find out if they will accept it.
Anyone attending the information sessions? I am planning to attend the information session on the 17th of June I will post if I find out anything important.
I mailed my application off yesterday.
Well good luck! Can't to hear how it turns out for you! I won't be able to submit my application until I get my transcript for the summer course.

I will be applying for the Spring 2015 semester as well. I am currently waiting on my transcript and trying to write my personal statement. Does anyone have any advice for the personal statement? I didnt think it would be this hard for me to even start.
Before your write your personal statement, think about all of the reasons in the world in the world that makes you want to be a nurse, then read over all of the information and links about the core values, and visualize applying them in a hospital &/or doctor's office. It'll help to give you a start when talking about why they are so important.

Hey all! Taking the hesi July 30th... I've never had test anxiety but I'm getting nervous. Is there physics questions on the test? Because there's a section in the study book. Did anyone use the study guide with good results? Good luck to y'all! I'm excited and hopeful!
