I've recently changed my major to pre-nursing, and am applying for the Spring 2015 semester this August! I've got tons of questions, and also have gathered a lot of research about the program from past forums and current students. This thread, I'm sure, will be helpful in both easing our nerves and providing insight about the upcoming application process! It seems to be different for every semester. I get attacked by my anxiety every time I question if my GPA will suffice! Has anyone started the application process yet (i.e., personal statement, HESI, etc.?)

I am awaiting this email. I mean if I was given an interview two times before, I should receive another I would hope. This is partially frustrating.

Hi guys. My name is Jayde. I totally would've commented on this forum when I was freaking out over the past four months, but I didn't see it until now. I received my interview email at 8:30 in the morning Tuesday, September 2. I was really nervous because my HESI score was low, 71. But my GPA with about 17 hours is 3.6. I'm finishing my prerequisites at UNO. I hope you all get interviews at least and I hope we get in!

nothing to worry about, I had a 70 on the HESI and a 3.:
Man hearing all of yall with these good GPAs and hesi scores makes me feel like I won't get in lol. I got a 3.5 pre GPA and a 74 on the hesi this is my first time applying. I do have my EMT licens and have been working in an emergency room for over a year now I hope that counts for something. I am also confident in my goal statement but I'm still so nervous no interview email yet either
I just received mine. Like others, I am going to have to wait to schedule for the week of September 22nd-25th as well. This monday and tuesday would conflict with work for me, and I'd rather have more preparation time. We got this ya'll!
