Hello everyone this is a roll call to everyone who will be starting a Lpn program this year. Please state when you will be starting your program, the name of the school and state, and one thing you are excited or nervous about! :)

I am Shannon from Detroit, MI and will be starting my LPN program at Davenport Sept. 3rd! I have my schedule and orientation is this Friday so I'm super excited!!!!!!! Time management is key for me as I will be working 32 hours a week a I have a 21 month old (and getting married in May)!

Hey, I'm Andrea! I start my LPN program on August 18 at Pearl River Community College in MS! I have previously been in the first two semesters of a BSN program here (long painful story), and I'm a CNA, so I have a little bit of experience. Lean on your classmates!!

Hi All, I start school at TCAT Covington on September 2nd. I am excited about meeting new people, becoming a nurse and all the training and experience that goes along with becoming a nurse. I am nervous about paying for school, trying to work while I'm in school and staying focused and organized without getting overwhelmed. Good Luck Everyone!

I'm starting my program Aug. 25 out here in good ol' Utah. Super excited/nervous/scared/anxious...you name it, I've been feeling it lately! I'm more nervous about balancing out school and home life - hopefully my kids will be able to make it through this as well!

Hi I'm Marilyn. I start an LPN program in Slidell,La on august 18th. I'm so excited. I'm 31, have been wanting to be a nurse since I was 18! I've been a CNA for 14 yrs but I'm not working right now. I was in a surgical tech program since January and once we went to clinicals felt I needed more interaction with patients. I loved the atmosphere of the OR but I wasn't satisfied when I went home each day. I decided to drop from the program and start This program to begin my dream career!!! Good luck to everyone!

I start the LPN program at Arkansas State University- Searcy on August 18! I'm nervous but mostly excited! I'm a mother of a 13yo, 7 yo & 2 1/2 yo. My biggest fear is juggling the home life and school... I'm 30 years old and I'm ready to give it all I got....no messing around! Prayers for all & they too are appreciated! We can do this!!
