Hello everyone this is a roll call to everyone who will be starting a Lpn program this year. Please state when you will be starting your program, the name of the school and state, and one thing you are excited or nervous about! :)
Hey everyone!
My name is Kenley and I'm 24 years old with a beautiful baby girl who's turning 2 on the 1st. I'm attending the Eastern Suffolk BOCES LPN Program in Brentwood, NY for a term of 11 months starting September 5th. I currently work as PCA for an agency here out on Long Island, NY. I'm really anxious to get started and complete this program so that I may get the hands-on experience starting out as an LPN then pursue my BSN (hopefully at Stony Brook University). I wish everyone here good luck on all of your endeavors! God Bless.
I start tomorrow morning at Mpcc in Mccook Nebraska! I'm scared ********, excuse my French, I have been told many times mpcc's program is very hard and although I do think I could handle the course work being a single mom if two and having to continue to work full time is what scares the crap out of me!
Between my dad getting sick school and work I have been going crazy trying to stay focused. I had a lab quiz and really messed that one up. But I've been practicing my dosage calculations and next time I should ace it. Fundamentals has been alot of reading but its a lot of common sense things. I feel like I should still read it to do well on tests.
My name is Melissa and I will be starting my LPN program on Tuesday 9/2/2014. I will be attending ATS here in Chicago, IL and I just received my class schedule today. I am excited about this journey and becoming a nurse and I am nervous about managing a full-time work and school schedule and also about coming up with the rest of the money to pay for my LPN program. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!
Hey, everyone! My name is Charmaine and I reside in Northern California. I start my LVN program at Carrington College California, Pleasant Hill Campus-November 3rd, 2014. Ultimate goal is to get my BSN . I'm most excited about the clinicals and learning med/surg. I will be working weekends at ALF job while in this full-time 12 month program. Good luck to everyone!!!
