Am I being insensitive? ?
Every school and program are different, but at my school u have to meet certain requirements, not saying u wouldnt get accepted if u had cancer, BUT u r still responsible for everything like other students regardless of ur illness because u kno nursing is rigorous! So in my opinion u r not bein insensitive and I see some points where it is unfair. Either do for all students or not at all. Nursing school is different from workin in a hospital with a cancer patient. Just my opinion.

First day of class
Had my first week this week that just passed. Ppl are already stressing, I'm still in the excited stage and trying to stay ahead and start off on the right track. I say don't get anxiety from other ppl experience, what might of been hard for one person might not be as hard for you! :)

Any Advice for a Pre-Nursing Student?
I did basically all my prerequisites and did a patient care technician program at my school that included ekg, cna, and phlebotomy. This all gave me points when I applied to my nursing program. Good luck, hope this helps.
