  1. Every school and program are different, but at my school u have to meet certain requirements, not saying u wouldnt get accepted if u had cancer, BUT u r still responsible for everything like other students regardless of ur illness because u kno nursing is rigorous! So in my opinion u r not bein insensitive and I see some points where it is unfair. Either do for all students or not at all. Nursing school is different from workin in a hospital with a cancer patient. Just my opinion.
  2. Thank u so much and thanks for the tips and advice, I always like to hear other ppls advice.
  3. I PASSED MY FIRST NURSING TEST! This is just one of many, but im very excited that I passed so I know I have been studying the right way. I probably gotta do somethings a lil different, but im proud of myself :)
  4. Had my first week this week that just passed. Ppl are already stressing, I'm still in the excited stage and trying to stay ahead and start off on the right track. I say don't get anxiety from other ppl experience, what might of been hard for one person might not be as hard for you! :)
  5. Starting my program August 18, 2014 at Orangeburg Calhoun Tech in Orangeburg South Carolina. Im so excited that im finally about to start and im nervous because idk what to expect lol but im more anxious just to start:sarcastic:
  6. I did basically all my prerequisites and did a patient care technician program at my school that included ekg, cna, and phlebotomy. This all gave me points when I applied to my nursing program. Good luck, hope this helps.
