LPN school 3 days per week?

Updated:   Published

Hello all, I was recently accepted into an LPN program, it is 11 months long, & I am to attend class 3 days per week. Has anyone heard of a program like this? Most of the other programs that I've looked into are 5 days a week; I've heard you normally do three days lecture, 2 days clinical. So I'm not sure how this works. Any input would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

For taking your boards (NCLEX) you will need to have certain amount of time spent in school. Look at your contract or calculate yourself to see if that's the number required to take Nclex. If yes, you're good!

Is it possible to take your state board after a year of a 18 month lpn class?

If you didn't finish the program I assume the state will say you don't meet the requirements to sit for the exam.

I just received my acceptance letter to an LPN program that I applied for. For the first semester classes are 3 days a week.

If this is possible, I believe we all would do this!!!

My program is through a k-13 BOE votech. I called, the secretary of the program said I'd be 3 days per week until clinicals. It's an 11 month program. She said it was a new setup so I'm not sure what to expect. Luckily my job is pretty flexible. January can NOT get here fast enough. I'm sooooo ready =)

And I probably just jinxed myself being overly confident haha. Oh well.

what is the name of the school that offers 3 days a week?
