I am not an Lpn but I do know of a few Lpn to Rn programs in NY. There is Bronx community college, Helen Fulde school of nursing (i'm not sure i spelled it right). IF anything, look up associate degree nursing programs on the department of educations page and call them up. many offer Lpn to rn programs.
good luck

I was an LPN, and I went to Helene Fuld College of Nursing. It is a year program if you are going for a full time program....the school also offers a part-time program. 1st, you must pass the entrance exam that consists of math, reading, writing and a NCLEX like exam.
Good luck!!

La Guardia has a bridge LPN-RN program, there are a few LPN's in our RN program and I don't think they even have to do a entrance exam...:wink2:

Any updates on LAGCC and Helene Fulde? How is the outlook for an LPN wanting to apply to their RN programs? I have passed 2 national entrance exams (TEAS and the NLN) in the 93rd/96th percentiles (nationwide) respectively. I don't know if this even matters..but I noticed one member mentioned there is testing in. Thanks!
