Hello everyone, I'm a little curious if you were required to pay separately for your uniform and books or if they were included in your tuition. Can you include your state and amount of tuition. I'm in MI, my tuition is $8000 and I pay for my own uniforms and books.

NYC "fees" (because our school is tuition free) is $2500. That includes books and uniforms, graduation fees, NCLEX testing fees, etc. etc.

Days like this I wish I still had my place in Brooklyn!

Oh my, I am living in the wrong state.........That is awesome!! I would be doing the happy dance if that was all that I had to pay.

Wow! Some lucky people here. My tuition and all facility fees for my entire schooling process costs $40,000. Then one into the lpn program the following costs come out of pocket:

Uniform x2.............$60.00 each

Books for program....$1000.00

Dress suit...........$150.00

Nclex.........$200.00

Lab coat with insigna.......$75.00

Danskos....:............$85.00

Name tag x2...........$15.00

And other misc items.

Connecticut for-profit LPN school...paid WAY too much for tuition...but 3 full sets of uniforms were included as was books.

Private College for RN program, tuition included NOTHING. Required to purchase uniforms at one specific uniform place the school chose (had to use it as they were the only ones that had the school emblem that was to be embroidered onto the tops). Needed 3 sets and cost I think it was $125 for the 3 sets of scrubs and the fee for embrodering.

Hi, 26000 for tuition and 2 sets of scrubs included and we have to buy a solid white set plus a white lab coat

Yep, we had to buy 2 uniforms, a lab coat & shoes.

My LPN program was 20k  and it included all supplies like uniforms, books, etc.

I had to buy my own uniforms. The tuition isn't much for my program, so if we have extra financial aid money we can use it for that and books and such.
