I'm curious...did you have to pay for uniform?

Hello everyone, I'm a little curious if you were required to pay separately for your uniform and books or if they were included in your tuition. Can you include your state and amount of tuition. I'm in MI, my tuition is $8000 and I pay for my own uniforms and books.

ADN program in NYC. paid 25000 in tuition and fees. uniform, books, equipment separate. over 2 years, spent 250 on uniform and shoes (needed new sneakers and bottoms for second year).

tuition for my rn-bsn program is going to be about 13,000, books not included

My Accelerated PN program tuition was 11,000, books 600 and uniform was also separate, in NY state

I am in Georgia and my tuition was was $1700 which included my charges for my books. I have my GI Bill that paid this and then I paid for my clinical uniforms separately..

New York City LPN program $2500.00 all inclusive

Private nonprofit LVN program in southern California in 2005. Although books, uniforms, and a stethoscope were all included, keep in mind that tuition was a whopping $19,995. Today, this same school charges nearly $30,000 for the same LVN program.

I would have saved more money by paying cheaper tuition and while purchasing the required books and uniforms myself.

Wow, I can see why everything would be included. Ok, now I don't feel bad for paying for books and scrubs.

My tuition was about 3.5k for LPN program, malpractice and all fees included. Books were another 800$. We did have to buy our own uniforms and supplies.

I went to a community college which was 52$ a credit hour.

That is a great price to to for school. Your tuition, books and uniforms were less than my tuition alone. It's amazing to see all the vast range of tuition rates.

Feeling blessed, sounds like I got off a lot easier than y'all...New Mexico community college tuition $800 per semester, books around $300 semester, spent $100 on two pairs of white scrubs :)

My uniforms are not included, approximately $200 including new shoes. Tuition $11.5K here in Orange County, NY not including books and sundry.

My tuition was $9,000 and all that included was a tote bag, ATI testing, and a Florence Nightingale lamp. Books, supplies, and uniforms were all additional costs. My lab uniform if I buy only one will cost about $30 and the clinical uniform if I just buy one will cost about $100. Unfortunately it was suggested that we buy two clinical uniforms =/

$100, wow! Did you get your books from Amazon? We were told the we should purchase two clinical uniforms as well. Fortunately they only want a certain color. I purchased my four sets of lab (clearance) and four sets of clinical scrubs, lab coat, socks and shoes for around $150on allheart.com. Coming out of pocket can get expensive.

My LPN program is $27,000, you darn skippy my uniforms better had been included in my tuition LOL. All of my books were included along with 3 sets of uniforms, a long white lab jacket for clinicals, kits, pressure cuff, etc.

Tution 4000 and includes everything sc
