Hi,

I have one class left in pn school and am unsure whether I can actually finish school at this time. (personal reasons) I get good grades in clinical and class. A friend said she thought I could challenge the nclex pn.

Been trying to call the board of nursing but the line is always busy.

Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks

Hello, kk2000,:balloons:

The only way to be able to sit for PN NCLEX would be to graduate from a PN program or, in some states after you have completed a certain time in an RN program, you may sit for the PN NCLEX.

Do you know what that time is in Indiana or Texas for students in an RN program?

Hello, sunnyjohn,:balloons:

No I do not, but, why not start a thread in NCLEX forum and pose this question. Suzanne, moderator for that forum, knows about these issues.

Sorry I could not answer that question.

Will do!

Thanks!

I answered your other post. (Sunnyjohn).

To the original poster of this thread, you must complete and pass all of the required courses in your program to be able to settle the academic part of your license. There is no challenge for the NCLEX-PN exam by a nursing student.
