Lpn going for RN

Anybody. I am an LPN going for my RN right now with Excelsiore College. I am a male nurse. Does anybody know of any scholarships or grants that I can avail of so that I can study fulltime. Your info is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

I just did Excelsior. Unfortunately, there is nothing available for their ASN that I know of.

My friend is doing EC now and got a scholarship. She applied through their website. You have to fill out the financial aid form. Check their site out.

Hey, i'm there with ya. Male LPN going for my RN thru Excelsior also. Would be awesome to find some scholarships for this program, but haven't heard of anything yet.

Okay. I am not going through EC but am going through College Network and have finally taken my first test that was through EC and Passed!! :yeah: yehaw! Anyways.. hope you have the best of luck finding some assistance cause the stuff is expensive and on LVN pay.. it takes a while to pay off the student loans.

But who is going to award your degree? I can guarantee it's not The College Network ...

Gypsy, what did those TCN reps tell you? Excelsior or Indiana State has to award you a degree.

It is my understanding that TCN is a publishing company that helps you obtain your degree THRU excelsior or ISU. TCN is not a program, and can't actually award your degree. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

i hope you understand that the college network is a publishing company and does not award degrees...they are not a college....tcn is a very unnecessary middle man....

I MAY BE WRONG BUT TO ME IT SEEM LIKE

SHE'S SAYING THAT SHE USED THE COLLEGE NETWORK MATERIAL TO PASS HER 1st TEST WHICH WAS THROUGH EC

THAT'S OK, SOME PEOPLE USE STUDY GUIDES INSTEAD OF THE EC MATERIALS. HOPE SHE DIDN'T GET CAUGHT UP A TCN CONTRACT. CHECK EBAY

BEST WISHES
