Loyola Chicago ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all,

I wanted to start a thread for those who are applying to Loyola University of Chicago's ABSN program for the Fall 2021 cohort.

I still have a few pre-recs to complete, but I am planning to submit my application next month. I would be moving from out of state and Loyola is my top choice program.

How exciting! Best of luck to you as well! I'm very anxious to complete my pre-recs and apply. Time is flying by though, so I will be there soon enough.

Hello all!

Good luck to everyone in their application! I'm also looking to apply for Fall 2021 to the hybrid program. 

I've done a pre-interview phone call last week, but besides finishing prerequisites just waiting for a follow up call... is there another step to the process I'm missing, or an application on the school website? I don't seem to see one.

Hi all! I sent in my application for the Fall 2021-Maywood this week and crossing my fingers since this is my top choice as well, however I'm in Illinois already! Good luck to you all!

https://uao.luc.edu/apply/ Hopefully this link works for you! I had to dig around a little, but it's there. Besides your phone call and validating what pre-reqs you've done/need, I think you should be able to start the application!

Hi everyone! I submitted my application last week but it took a while for my AP score and recommendation letter to be received so hoping my application can be looked at soon. I'm in Illinois as well and Loyola's my top choice!

Yes I just got the email from an advisor for the same link ?

Anyone else I'm the hybrid program? I'm in CA now, but I lived in Chicago before the pandemic and excited to be go back to the city! Looking to find a spot with my partner in Humboldt Park/Garfield Park/Logan/ or Austin.

Hi everyone,

I also applied to the Maywood campus and planning to move from California. I applied two weeks ago and I’m anxious to hear back soon. Hope we find out an update soon, if anyone does please share.
