los medanos 2016 rn program

I received a letter this past week asking me to verify my grades that I listed on my application. I also have a friend who received a letter saying that they never received her transcripts so she was not eligible. A few others I know have also not heard anything. I know we are suppose to receive results if we are in or not on June 2 via the RN webpage.

Hi koolfish,

Do you know if your friend hand in her transcript to the Admissions Office or she mailed it? I handed it to them in person, but I'm still worried they did not put in their system on time

I still did not get any email confirmation! Maybe because I applied last minute, I applied on March 1st and the deadline was March 4th.

I know i hand carried mine last year with my application. This year i called to confirm that they still had them on file before mailing out a second copy and they did. not sure if thats any help.

Hey everyone,

I received an email stating that they received my transcripts and all the pre-requisites for LMC's nursing program have been verified! Now just have to wait and see if I get selected June 2nd. Good luck everyone

I've applied for the LVN-RN bridge program at LMC Fall 2016'. I did not receive an e-mail. From what I was told by former LMC nursing students, if you are a qualified applicant, you should receive an e-mail before the lottery stating that you have the verified prerequisites. And receive another e-mail stating that you did or did not get accepted. I am still waiting for the e-mail notice. We still have until the 31st for that notice... :unsure:

Well you guys, I did not get an email confirmation yet, I don't know anymore. :/ I turned in my transcript in person and I kind of applied four days before it was due, so maybe I havent had any email from them cause they are evaluating application in the order that when applicants applied.

I think if you applied a couple days before the due date it might take longer for your confirmation. I read somewhere on the website they go through the applications from the order they were received, I applied in January so maybe that's why I received my confirmation quickly. I hope we all get in, my mom is about to graduate from LMC's nursing program next week-- she loved it !

Hey guys, I finally got an email. It just says that if the info I provided is incorrect to resend the form they sent with corrected info by May 25th. I guess as long as your pre reqs are a 3.0 and above you're good to go.

I think for those of us who turned in apps closer to the deadline date it's taken longer to hear back. My guess is also that there are so many apps it's taking a while to get through them- I got the email on Sunday instead of a weekday.

Hopefully everyone gets that letter sooner than later!!

(The email says they sent the same info in a letter).

Did anyone take online courses to satisfy prerequisites? I read some where that they accept them, but I want to be sure. ..Thanks!
