los medanos 2016 rn program

hello, i submitted my rn application this year to los medanos college. i was wondering if anyone else has applied and has gotten any email from the college. they said the results will be within one week, but still i wanted to know if anyone has so far received any emails regarding the application.

Have you heard from school yet or anyone. This is such a long wait. They should at least let us know of something.

No I haven't heard back. The website says "within a week" so that would be tomorrow. Not really that long of a wait..other schools take months to get back to people. My hopes aren't that high considering they get about 500 applications and usually only take 20-30.

Hello everyone! I submitted my application back in January. So far, I have received a letter in the mail to verify my prerequisites. I don't think the lottery for the program is this week as the deadline was just on March 4 and last years lottery was held at the end of May. I know they email you if you have been accepted, within a week of the lottery, but not sure when the actual lottery will be held. But if I am wrong please correct me. Good luck to all!

Oh okay thank you letting us know. I haven't received any letter from the college asking for prerequisite verification or anything. Hopefully soon they will contact. Did you finish your pre reqs at medanos or somewhere else? I finished mine at different college but I turned transcript. Hopefully we hear soon. Thank you again.

I completed my pre-reqs at LMC and Contra Costa College. I apologize if I wasn't clear but I will rephrase what I wrote earlier: LMC will send you a letter stating that they have verified your pre-reqs and GPA and you will be part of the lottery. Good Luck!

im sure you all saw by now..but the website says:

  • Applications are evaluated in the order they are recieved. Qualified and Non-Qualified Applicant e-mails will be sent to InSite e-mail addresses only between now and May 31, 2016.

I applied in January and never received even a confirmation email that they had received my application. Several other people I know, tell me the same thing. I wish the communication was better. Seems like it takes forever, to hear back from these schools. Good luck everyone!
