Some members are excited to meet their future classmates, while others are on the alternate list and seeking advice on their chances of getting in.
This group is designed to connect, share updates, post statistics, and support each other throughout the application process for Fall 2025.
Application Period: 1/3/25 – 1/31/25
Wishing everyone the best of luck!🤗
*I applied with 55 points—fingers crossed it's enough to move me to Phase 2! 🙏✨
MamaW said:Just an FYI I ran into while getting my boosters and TB tests done. If you have to get a booster for varicella or MMR you cannot get a TB test done for 28 days after. The nurse at the vaccine clinic told me you will get a false positive reading 🤷♀️ I had no clue. I called the nursing department and was told they now will accept negative TB blood tests and she is going to send out an email and there is a spot now to add that into complio. I just thought I'd share in case someone else ran into the same thing!
I'm not in the program but curious about this. Because I usually always get a false positive for TB and the one time I tried doing a blood test the lab I went to kept sending the blood back because it wasn't "good" so I had to get an X-ray done and the program I was doing at the time accepted the X-ray. Do you know if LMC will accept an X-ray?

yes, you can submit a negative chest Xray if you get a positive TB skin test
Hello everyone!
I am finally all compliant with my Complio. I'm still trying to go back and forth with all the requirements in case I missed anything. I'm open to questions if anyone needs help on anything. I do have a question: are we supposed to hear back from them once we're all settled or do we just proceed to the Nursing Orientation on August 6th once we're done? Thank you!

Yay! that was quick, I'm still waiting on my eye exam and then hopefully I'll be done 🤞🏻 it says on the email from Erika that was sent out on the 23rd that you can register for classes once you're compliant. Maybe reach out to her and see if there's anything you need to do to be able to register?

Wow thats great! I'm having some issues with mine and would love some help. Can you email me at [email protected]?
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share some info for those still needing titers/TB done that are paying out of pocket. It's pretty pricey and pretty consistently priced at all of the labs. I randomly found the Contra Costa Community Outreach Lab in Antioch and was able to get all titers and the blood TB test done for $184 total. Just wanted to pass it along. See you all at orientation!

that's great congrats! How were you able to get a drug screen? The soonest labcorp drug screen I was able to book was 7/15 but my registration expiration is 7/11...

@BayAreaEDTech for my vision and color exam I just went to my optometrist. I ran into the same issue as most. My Kaiser PCP couldn't and didn't not have anyone available to complete vision or hearing.
