anyone know which day/time classes are? trying to make it work between work and school 😬

I tried my best to find the times/days for this coming fall semester. I got this information from Insite.

fundamentals lecture:

Tuesday 9am-1:30pm (lunch break from 11:30am-12pm)

The first 3 weeks on Thursday and Friday you will be on campus for lectures and lab skills and the time for that is 8am-5pm.
After those 3 weeks you start clinical, AM shift is 6:30am-3:15, PM shift is 2:30-11:15pm.

Skills lecture:

Monday 8-8:50am

skills lab:

There seems to be two sections

One where lab is right after lecture so

- Monday 8:50-11:10am

Other option is

- Monday 11:40am-1:50pm

Pharmacology:

Monday 1:40-2:30pm (I don't know why it overlaps with the last lab group but they are probably working on the times or they made a mistake)

Hope this helps!

that's great congrats! How were you able to get a drug screen? The soonest labcorp drug screen I was able to book was 7/15 but my registration expiration is 7/11...

I never booked an appointment since everywhere around me were full. I did a walk in with Santa Rosa and came as early as opening: around 8am, and I was out of there in 30 minutes. I saw on this thread that Pinole does walk ins too (I would call ahead to make sure and try to do research for what time).

Hello everyone!

I am finally all compliant with my Complio. I'm still trying to go back and forth with all the requirements in case I missed anything. I'm open to questions if anyone needs help on anything. I do have a question: are we supposed to hear back from them once we're all settled or do we just proceed to the Nursing Orientation on August 6th once we're done? Thank you!

I was wondering if you ever heard back about next steps after you're complaint? I just received an email this morning that all my requirements are complaint as well.

Hi everyone,

I am apart of the 2025 class. Does anyone have any recommendations for AHA BLS certifications?

Hello,

I did the EMED 109 class at CCC this Summer. It was great, he said you can usually get in if you show up. You do an online portion before the class so be sure to email the professor if you do try to take one of those classes. I think there is one Jul 14th and another one in august.

You can go to https://atlas.heart.org/?_gl=1*1c3zzp3*_gcl_au*MTIxOTkwMjQ2NS4xNzUwODk0Mzc4LjkxMzkyMjQzMS4xNzUxMTMyNzkwLjE3NTExMzI3OTA.*_ga*MjEyMzMwOTMxLjE3NTA4OTQzNzg.*_ga_QKRW9XMZP7*czE3NTE5NDIwMDckbzEkZzAkdDE3NTE5NDIwMDckajYwJGwwJGgw

And search your zip code. Make sure to choose the BLS class that is for Healthcare professionals.

Hello all,

I am also now fully compliant! For the drug screening, I did a walk-in at the Pinole labcorp at around 8am, they took me in and I was out in 45 minutes. It was also not the labcorp that I initially signed up for, but they took me in anyway with no additional fees or concerns.

Best of luck all and see you all this Fall. 🙂

I went to Costco today to complete my hearing. The lady at the Brentwood Costco was unsure what CPS meant so she didn't feel comfortable filling out the hearing portion on the physical form. She did give me a print out. If any of you went to Costco for hearing how did you interpret the Costco hearing results on onto the physical form?

I left my physical form blank on the hearing and vision portion and submitted the form costco gave me with the physical form. Complio approved it that way

Did anyone actually have a color vision test done? My optometrist said it isn't part of the standard eye exam, and I really don't want to have to pay for another exam 😩

My measles titer came back borderline. Did anyone here either get border line or negative? If so what did your doctor recommend? I completely blanked when I got my 1st MMR dose and forgot to ask why my next steps are. Like do I need to get both doses or can I wait a few days after my 1st dose and go back for another MMR titer?

You'll have to schedule a month later for your second MMR.
