I'm currently #11 on the alternate list 😔 but I'm truly grateful to have been accepted into CSUEB. Do you happen to know the deadline to accept your place is and when all required documents (like CPR, proof of bloodwork, etc.) are due? I'm guessing that's when people will start moving off the alternate list.

I told myself that if I don't hear anything by the beginning of August, I'm just going to shift my mindset and fully commit to East Bay.

Hey I think someone already mentioned that the deadline to accept was 6/17. They haven't sent out the info on all of the requirements and when they need to be done. I think they'll send that info out on Monday.
I think you still have a chance to get in, don't lose hope! I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Hi everyone! If people start coming off the alternate list, please let us know! I check my email more frequently than is healthy. 😅😅

Did anyone order the drug screening yet? I ordered mine and they don't have any appointments within 50 miles before it expires 😣 I couldn't reach anyone via phone with the compliance company or labs. Has anyone else had this issue?

I ordered mine on Monday through the Pinole location, but they didn't have any appointments until after my expiration date. I was told over the phone to email [email protected] because they might be able to change it to a quest location. I didn't end up doing that because I ended up finding an appointment for the next day in San Francisco. I think I got lucky and snagged someone's cancelled appointment. When I went to the location in San Francisco, they had people waiting in the lobby for the drug test, but it seemed like a pretty long wait

@MamaW I'll try that email! I emailed the generic email they have but haven't heard back so fingers crossed this one works. I've been periodically checking all of the labs to see if anything opens up as well. Thanks!!

The guy on the phone told me to include my name, order number, and zip code. I emailed them Monday and had an email waiting for me Tuesday morning. Definitely check the san francisco one periodically. They had a few times available next day. It's definitely a drive but worth it if something opens up 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Im having a hard time getting an appointment as well. I thought they took walk ins and on Monday I was planning to drive up to Pinole to check. I guess ill find out if they take walk ins.

yea I think thats what ill look into but like do they let students retake courses that they passed. If I bumped it up it would make such a huge difference

I think you should go for it, I don't see anywhere saying you can't retake classes. I know for other programs like east bay they drop points for retakes, but I don't see anything regarding retakes for LMC. Good luck!

I am also having a hard time getting an appointment.. It was stated that appointments are not required but are highly recommended. I might go to Pinole as early as possible to walk in.

I couldn't get an appointment anywhere, so I did my walk in at Sta. Rosa. They open at 8am and there was a line even after they opened. It was fast though, I was only there for less than 30 minutes. Also, make sure you have your registration number and identification card after registration.

Some labcorp have walk-in drug test. They will say no over the phone but if you go on site and have your form, tell them you couldn't get any appointment and your nursing school requires it ASAP. And they will let you do it. YMMV, but I did one down in fremont (mowry), and they let me walk-in

Thanks everyone for sharing the info you have! Did anyone who walked in go to a location that was not the one they chose when placing the order? I ordered mine for Pinole, but I do see they specify appts being needed for drug screens. I was thinking I would just drive to the one in Napa that I've been to before buuuuuut I can't reach them on the phone to ask if they'll accept the order 😑 also…… how is this an issue. Like, if it's a problem for everyone why not adjust the timeframe they give you? Seems so obvious LOL
