*I applied with 55 points—fingers crossed it's enough to move me to Phase 2! 🙏

Im thinking of applying next year is a 45 for phase 1 score typically enough to go through for phase 2 or would I likely get screened out

I was going to say same thing as syantel, my friend also applied this year and had 50pts for phase one but didn't advance to phase 2

down now

Based on the previous application pools, I haven't seen anyone get in Phase I that's below 50. All the ones I saw are 50 and up. Disclaimer: I am only basing the information on what I saw here on the allnurses website LMC forum though.

Yea your right. Im sad im kinda screwed, I have a b in one course and its literally preventing me from that 50-55 range

general GPA 15

life circumstances 5 pts

@Ljm

I'm currently #11 on the alternate list 😔 but I'm truly grateful to have been accepted into CSUEB. Do you happen to know the deadline to accept your place is and when all required documents (like CPR, proof of bloodwork, etc.) are due? I'm guessing that's when people will start moving off the alternate list.

I told myself that if I don't hear anything by the beginning of August, I'm just going to shift my mindset and fully commit to East Bay.

is east bay a bsn, I've seen its quite popular in this thread

Yes, it is, but it's also one of the most affordable options. East Bay has partnerships with schools like Chabot, Ohlone, and LMC, where you can complete your ADN through their programs while working on your BSN online through East Bay. It's pretty cheap way to earn your BSN quickly and at a much lower cost. I think you essentially work through your Summer.

Specializes in N/A.

@Tara.M I saw that you were inquiring about the deadline to accept your position. Were you asking for LMC or CSUEB. If it was LMC the deadline was June 17. For both conditional offers and alternate list.

Have you thought about maybe retaking anatomy for an A? That'll bump you up 10 pts, I'd say it'll be worth it if you do that

I believe science prerequisites are up to 25. If you tally the average for all your science prerequisites, what would be the GPA average? Also, you could always get a medical experience (lvn, ma, emt, CNA, etc.) to get an additional 5 pts.

yea I think thats what ill look into but like do they let students retake courses that they passed. If I bumped it up it would make such a huge difference

GPA average is 3.67 for science so just barely getting me 5 more points. But IDK if like 45 points for phase 1 would even make it to the second round because I think I can get a good TEAS
