Los Medanos College (LMC) ADN - Fall 2024

I am posting this for the students applying to LMC's Nursing program that starts in Fall of 2024. This is for everyone to meet, congregate, post statistics, and help one another in the application process. 

The application opened on 1/3/24 and is set to close 2/2/24.

I hope everyone feels good about their scores from testing today!  Speaking to the nursing dept only 66 people sat for the TEAS for the RN program, so that's a 48% chance of getting in!  Do we know if by points for the TEAS are they talking about adding in the percentage of the adjusted score or are they talking about adding up the number of questions we got correct?  

Total score = TEAS score plus phase 1 score. Also, Not everyone sat for the test today because they already took it and submitted the score they had.

Oh thank you, I didn't take it since I submitted my score already. Eek, I hope all of us are on the list 🤩

were they able to give you your test results right away or do you have to wait?  (You don't have to share your score, I was just curious if you have to wait in that too, double nerves!)

Thank you Lisa. Did the LMC tell you that they will release the results on Friday? I thought LMC closes on Fridays in the Summer.

This is the quote directly from the attached document sent 6/7 titled 2024 TEAS Informational sheet:

Conditional Admittance: The results following the completion of Phase II will be posted on the Nursing home webpage. You will receive conditional admission notification via your InSite email on or before Friday, June 14th, 2024, if your overall score has placed you amongst the top RN candidates. You will be required to return via email your completed conditional admission notification by Tuesday, June 18th, 2024. If we do not receive your completed conditional admission notification by the deadline, you have forfeited your conditional admission. Once we receive your completed conditional admission notification, you will receive an acceptance packet with instructions on the background check/drug screening.
