Los Medanos College (LMC) ADN Fall 2024

Published

I am posting this for the students applying to LMC's Nursing program that starts in Fall of 2024. This is for everyone to meet, congregate, post statistics, and help one another in the application process.

The application opened on 1/3/24 and is set to close 2/2/24.

Good Luck Everyone!

I found a drug screening location in San hose and emailed them and they changed my location order!

For CSUEB, they with a counselor almost two months ago and if you have a non nursing degree, the current requirements don't necessarily apply. I was able to verify the hat my current degree was approved fe the past. I would encourage anyone who may need to explore their requirements further, to fill out the form since there's no commitment. Mondays CSUEB has zoom drop in appointments. I ended up having 1:1 time and email follow up. They are amazing to work with.

I'm glad they could change it! I have mine tomorrow. Oh that's good to hear, because I wasn't sure if it applied to me or not. Thank you!

If you are getting you nursing degree through LMC don't you automatically go to CSUEB for your bachelor's?

No, it's an option.

If anyone else is struggling to get an appointment the Napa Labcorp takes walk ins from 8-10am M-Fri.

That's great to know!  Thank you 😊

Has anyone finished their compliance and been able to register for their classes? I'm so ready to see the schedule!

@nicole did you already get your physical done? Kaiser won't see me until august 23 🙃

Try to call member services and tell them you would like to schedule your PE with another provider because you cannot wait until then. Explain to them that it is for nursing school. Send a secured msg to your pcp as well.

I have my physical scheduled for July 18th. Try Concentra... might have to pay out of pocket but at least you should be able to get in sooner

I booked my Kaiser appointment a while ago. I would recommend booking with another physician or calling everyday to see if someone has cancelled and appointment. Or try going to another Kaiser office if they allow it. I remember they mentioned that there's a certain time during the day when it's best to call if you want to try and book a cancelled appointment.

I have my CPR, tb test, and booster vaccines left. And I'm waiting to submit my physical exam until I'm done with all the testing. Does anyone know by when we have to be compliant?
