Los Medanos College (LMC) ADN - Fall 2024

I am posting this for the students applying to LMC's Nursing program that starts in Fall of 2024. This is for everyone to meet, congregate, post statistics, and help one another in the application process. 

The application opened on 1/3/24 and is set to close 2/2/24.

They will literally take phase 1 + 2 score and objectively rank everyone from top total score to least.  Many people apply to multiple schools and have already accepted other schools and/or other schools are their preference. Most people who want to go get to, at least this is what they told me last year 

This is amazing news!  Going from 11% acceptance rates to 30% makes me feel so much better.  I've been SO stressed trying to study for the TEAS with my kid fresh out of emergency surgery a week ago and in pain for a month prior with a ton of medical appointments, emergency room visits, imaging visits, ect, its been so hard to get any material into my brain.  This is such a huge load off!!  Thank you all for sharing!

It's 32 plus either 8 or 12 LVNs.

Does anyone know when we will get the final results?

We might get TEAS results right away but not sure to when they will reach out to those who made it to the program.

When I spoke with staff about 6 weeks ago they said notifications would go out within a few days of the TEAS.

Thank you!! Hopefully, we will get some updates by the end of next week. Good luck with your TEAS exam.

Congratulations on being accepted into the LVN to RN program! Does this mean you won't have to wait for the final result?

I do! There's 30 LVNs taking the TEAS and only a few will make it to the program so I'm pretty sure they have to wait for all of TEAS results. ;( The only difference is that I will join in on the 3rd semester.

Congrats on getting in to Chabot! I did not apply there but noticed you mentioned your acceptance on their thread. If you're comfortable sharing, do you mind me asking what you scored on your TEAS?

I hope everyone feels good about their scores from testing today!  Speaking to the nursing dept only 66 people sat for the TEAS for the RN program, so that's a 48% chance of getting in!  Do we know if by points for the TEAS are they talking about adding in the percentage of the adjusted score or are they talking about adding up the number of questions we got correct?
