Thats a hard number. With there being 40, you have a slight chance. I haven't heard anything yet, so I'm assuming I'm much further down the list. Sigh, holding back the tears. This is so hard to deal with when you want something so bad.

I completely understand how you feel. I definitely cried! Did you apply to other programs? Did you check your junk? Maybe she's saving the best for last :-)

I'm an alternate at PCC. They won't tell you what # you are, so it's all a guessing game.

Ugh! I know how you feel. Where else did you apply? I feel like the other programs I applied to are waiting till the end of this month to let us know if we were accepted.

I applied to a lot of schools and I didn't get into Gcc, waitlisted at pcc, accepted at COC

And I'm waiting in a few other schools

Good morning,

I'm working on sending the email about the lottery result. The lottery has been completed, we are accepting 40 students for spring 2017. You will receive the number you placed on the lottery and the current number. The current number is after the first 40 have been subtracted so you know where you are standing on the list.

I understand your anxiety but I need to send one email at a time to avoid mistakes. I apologize for the slow process as I'm the only one sending the emails.

I will not be answering the phone or any questions related to your lottery result until I'm done sending everyone their number.

Well... I feel so helpless, but girls, if we don't get in this semester, keep your head up, good things come to those who wait. There is a reason for everything and let's continue to apply and if this is our passion, we will get into our program and it will be more of. Mtaviation to finish because we worked so hard for it and it was tough to get in.

Hi Jessflo, Yes I got that same email today in the morning. I have not receive any other email from the department so far. I am assuming that I didn't make for the program this semester. I am still waiting for one more school hopefully they accept me. Have you apply to any other school?

I applied for LA county and LA VALLEY but with LA county I only have 74 points I am missing 6 and I don't know what to think about LA VALLEY, I had an RN in my physiology class last semester and she would say that the students that would go from that college to do their clinicals were clueless and didn't know what they were doing, and the staff didn't think highly of them when they would hear they are enrolled in the LA VALLEY nursing program. So that tells you something . What schools did you apply to ?

I applied to GCC, Pierce and LACC. I did not get into GCC, they told me that in case that a seat becomes available they will call me (nothing sure). Now I'm waiting for LACC they will let us know by the end of November. Hopefully they accept me. In case that I do not get in any program I am going to apply to LA County because I think they choose their students by point system, so probably I could have a better chance to get into LA County. I have not hear too much information about LA Valley College. But they have a high NCLEX passing rate, plus they have collaborative programs with CSULA, CSUN and others. I think LA Valley would be a good option too.

hey y'all, i got into Pierce for Spring 17! I got my acceptance email November 3 and nothing else. I turned in my acceptance paper to attend and I'm excited!
