Hi Chipotle 24, I received a call from the nursing department on Nov. 17 and I got a letter of acceptance into the nursing program on Nov.21. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting to get into the program.

I applied to GCC, Pierce and LACC. I did not get into GCC, they told me that in case that a seat becomes available they will call me (nothing sure). Now I'm waiting for LACC they will let us know by the end of November. Hopefully they accept me. In case that I do not get in any program I am going to apply to LA County because I think they choose their students by point system, so probably I could have a better chance to get into LA County. I have not hear too much information about LA Valley College. But they have a high NCLEX passing rate, plus they have collaborative programs with CSULA, CSUN and others. I think LA Valley would be a good option too.

Hi Jessflo, Yes I got that same email today in the morning. I have not receive any other email from the department so far. I am assuming that I didn't make for the program this semester. I am still waiting for one more school hopefully they accept me. Have you apply to any other school?

Congratulations TrypleA3!!! I have not get any email from the nursing department. I wish they send all emails at the same time to all students. Probably those of us who did not received any email didn't make it to the program

I have been doing some research but haven't found too much information about it. I have heard from other nursing students that nurses who graduate from nursing schools that are not NLN accredited have difficulties finding a job. Anyone has more information about it?

@luba1987 Thank you for the response. Since I did not hear anything form the nursing department I did the TEAS exam in another place and I just sent them my results today. Do you know when they are going to do the lottery? I hope I'm still on time to enter to the lottery.

Has anyone received an invitation to take the TEAS? I haven't heard anything from the nursing department since I dropped my application. The last email I got was an email from the department letting me know that they received my application.
