Has anyone applied (or planning on applying) to the RN program at LAHC college? Is there a waitlist that you know of? Any comments, tips, or general info on this school is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Igot all B's in my pre-reqs so I think I'm good. GPA is way above 2.5.
Does ayone know what LAHC e-mail address I should put into my cntact sotheir e-mail doesn't go into spam? Thanks everone. I love this site!
They need to get a version for the IPHONE. lol
if you goto the official nursing website.
It states, "The tentative dates and times for the TEAS test for Fall 2010 applicants is 5/21 1pm-5pm and 5/28 8am-12pm. The TEAS is by invitation only. 9:25 AM Apr 21st via web"
It was posted on April 21st.... which I find odd...
I really don't know what to do, I got a mail from Glendale Community College stating that I had passed the first cut, now I must take the teas next WEEK if I want to have any chance of getting accepted!!!! I wish they had given me more time to study or at least give me a heads up.
To be honest I would had preferred to take the test on 5/21 or 5/28 at LA Harbor Community College. This would had given me more than enough time to study for the teas (especially the science portion).
but I guarantee you that when harbor city tell you, it will be only days before the test is offered. That is what Glendale did to me. I only have about 5 days to prepare. Which seems like enough, but it's not when your currently in school. I hope that they allow you to transfer your previous TEAS to their program.
OK- Here's the REAL SCOOP on Harbor. I just got back from a meeting with the Director of Nursing and she said the letters are going out by email in the next 10-14 days. Cross your fingers y'all! :)
Andrew~ *YES* you CAN transfer your previous TEAS score, however, you must have ATI email your score directly to Toni Thompson AND you have to cover the fee (which I think is $20). Toni will not accept "hand delivered" or "self-emailed" TEAS scores. So, you're good! :)

My mistake...it's actually 698 apps at LAHC...but that's not much better, right? Sheesh this is hard!
