Congrats on passing! I also took the TEAS on October 15th, and passed. (Got my 20 points!) Do you happen to know when the acceptance letters will start going out?

Hello to all the LA county nursing applicants? I have a quick question on the prereq's on their website they only list the 3 major science classes, english 101, history or poly sci, psych 41, speech 101, sociology and humanities. Is that correct or is there more needed?

Thank you and I appreciate your help

i graduated from the program in 1985. hands down its the best program in the state. but if you are looking for an easy program, look elsewhere. if you are looking for a program with the alsolute best clinical training around go for it. i wish it would have been a bsn program! good luck to all luck enough to attend.

Does anyone know if there are any upcoming information sessions? I'm starting my pre-req's now and it will take me no time to finish them. So I wanted to get a jump start on looking for schools and preparing myself.

Anyone here receive a letter yet?

Anyone here receive a letter yet?

Not yet, but they called me today, asked me a couple of questions and then said I would get my letter next week. Hopefully, that means good news, but I'll have to wait and see. Anyone else get a phone call?

They sure are taking their sweet time considering that we actually paid to turn in an application

snookiejc, the call sounds like good news :) They wouldn't have called if they weren't interested

I know... it's been FOREVER. I hope it's good news, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high. I really thought that the letter would come in the mail today, but it was only junk mail. At this point, I just want to know one way or the other so that I can start planning my next steps. If I did get in, there is only a month or so before classes start, and there is a lot to do! Has anyone else received a call or letter?

8i8i8i: Is County your first choice?

LA County is my last hope for this semester (1st semester applying) I've been rejected by the other schools. B's are horrendous, apparently. Prereqs grades: B,B,A. I already have a bachelor's degree so I feel like I've wasted a lot of time. As you said- I just want to know either way so I can plan for next month (work, trips, etc). For me, I'm putting more hope into the next round

I was accepted into County 3 weeks before school started! They do take their time getting back to you, but really, it is a most amazing programme. Good luck you guys, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Thanks, County is my first choice, so I really hope I get in. Which semester are you in? Did County call you before you received your letter?
