This is for those of us that will be applying to LA county college of nursing and allied health's fall 2014 semester. I will be submitting my application for the basic RN program tomorrow... Yayyy!!! I am beyond excited, I can't believe this time has finally come!

I'm currently just running around and getting things together. I'm doing the BLS for healthcare providers in two weeks.

I recall you stating in previous posts that you already did it (correct me if I'm wrong). How did it go?

What do you mean not working for you? As in it won't load?

I just used it earlier and it worked perfectly fine!

I would like to get my hep b titer done already but I'm nervous there is a limit to how recent the titers need to be. I've gotten my varicella and mmr titer done last year I hope they will still accept it in November!!

I got my bls through this company called Save a Life. It went very well, it was fairly easy and quick. I do feel pretty prepared.

Did you do anything to prepare for it, like purchasing the book that is recommended?

AHHH! Registration week starting August 11th! :)

To be completely honest, I didn't think it would go from 8:00-3:00.

I didn't do anything to prepare. I was going to purchase the book, but I didn't because my friend who had taken the course there said that I didn't need it, which I didn't. They handed out a review sheet at the end that we can refer back to later if we need to.

I can't believe registration is from 8:30am-3pm Monday-Thursday! That's a super long time. I didn't expect that at all.
