Los Angeles County of Nursing - Fall 2014

This is for those of us that will be applying to LA county college of nursing and allied health's fall 2014 semester. I will be submitting my application for the basic RN program tomorrow... Yayyy!!! I am beyond excited, I can't believe this time has finally come!

I talked to PCC yesterday. They told me end of May

Whaaaaat? PCC will send their emails end of May? Oh my God! How much longer do we have to wait for these colleges; this wait is so excruciating.

This whole "hurry up and get everything done to wait" is exhausting. Why rush us if you aren't doing anything?!?!

Exactly! I guess you should feel extremely happy to have found out about your acceptance this early. And you are lucky to get accepted. Celebrate! :-)

Oh most definitely i am grateful. At the same time, i share this frustration as i have been in your shoes. Its just a long process. Bleh.

What I don't understand is why on the la county website is says that notifications for both generic and LVN-RN are sent on May 15? They really need to update the website to reflect accurate information, because it is super frustrating.

Did u guys read the thread for fall 2013? Students were expected their letters by may 15th, but actually got them in june. I hope we will get earlier than june!

We all know that about County, they send their letters in June and they don't follow their own posted schedule. Smylee, you should see their schedule for the current students, last schedule of classes was posted for Spring 2013. Everything is very outdated. I don't even expect anything before June

I hope we all will get in. It doesn't matter on may 15th or sometime in june. I try to enjoy my summer time. Soon we will be in school and dream about having time off))) But its so helpful to have this forum and update each other!

I hope they send it soon because what about the other schools? La county is my first choice, but Im an alternate at lacc and I'm still waiting for pcc. :( idk how much time they'll give for a response when the time comes. I'm really scared ;(

I am accepted at LACC! Yaaaay! I will, just like excited, accept the spot. It is my home college, few miles from home and they do the collaborative BSN program with Cal State.
