Hello T&T
I have been looking for prep courses too to help me, I even ended up moving to another province just to take a review program privately conducted. Finally I thought of organizing a group study, I looked around to know who failed the last exam and some first time takers who are IEN ( int`l Educ. Nrs) and we tried to fit in our schedules..usually we meet from 5-11 to do extensive studying..like back to basics and I would suggest you do the same. Too bad if you are just close to us, we would be glad to have you join us bec. we really like our study group and we are learning a lot. I just hope that we all pass. There is One conducted by one of the Universities here only for three days..you could try, we all tried it but its just question adn answer..better find a study buddy or group.
Audio reviewer can help too.
Goodluck!

Hi..... I have also been looking for a prep course in Toronto. I was not able to find anything for the longest time. I was looking at Toronto colleges/university websites and came across a Prep course at George Brown College in Downtown Toronto. I seen your post along with other postings on google when i was searching for prep courses so i joined allnurses.com to let u and others know about this if u are interested. The prep course is 2 days long and is held on Sept 27 and Sept 28th. I believe it is 17 hours in total. The cost of the prep course is $284.00. For more information you could go on the george brown website: http://www.georgebrown.ca and then click on continuing education. After this, a list will come up. Look for nursing under this list. After u click on nursing another list will come up...look for nurse exam review and this will give u the information u need to know
I hope all this helps
All the best and goodluck

Hi,
I have just completed the RN Prep Course at Toronto School Of Health. It was a great 8 session course on the weekends. They provide good information and practice questions. I am going to write the CRNE exam in June. I suggest that you register with them. Their website is http://www.torontoschoolofhealth.com

I went to one of the evening workshops of PASS and found it very effective. They also have longer review courses but I didn't take them. Check out their website, it's http://www.passnurse.com
I went to George Brown's review course but thought the one evening PASS workshop was better! I hope this is useful information.
hi dosey,
would be able to give me a guideline what to study (subject wise)? actually, i am absolutely puzzled after failing the rn exam held on june 3, 2009. i am interested to pay you or anyonelse if he/she gives me this direction now. because, most of the courses will start late august, 2009. i will attend these courses starting from august, but, if you could give me guideline (subject wise) now to study, it would be very helpful for a puzzled student like me.
regards,
a
