  1. About 200 questions, I remember the questions were very "long and wordy", you need to read it fast. There were questions on ABG. Luckily we did review those in class. I think I got them all right. Good luck on your exam.
  2. That is true. There are so many RPN exam prep courses. But some of them only go over how to interpret questions. You may need a good prep course which will review nursing content. A comprehensive prep course will cover specific nursing language/terminology, theory, and knowledge necessary for the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE). Good luck on your exam!
  3. Try the Toronto School of Health, they offer a RPN exam prep course. I took it and passed my RPN exam in Jan. and other 2 students who took the same course with me also passed. The course was expensive but worth it.
  4. Try Toronto School of Health, the instructor is very good.
  5. You may apply your student visa from your local Canadian Embassy. Student visa is required if the course is longer than 6 months.
  6. My tips for CNRE, CNA prep guide is very good, but studying from this prep guide is not enough, I studied the CNA prep guide and I also took a prep course at Toronto School of Health. If you prefer studying on your own, then start early !!!!!! since CNA questions are very hard which means that there always seems to be 2 correct answers. However, there is only one correct answer, which means you might be so close to the correct answer but you just weren't lucky enough to pick it. One of my friends did not pass on her 1st attempt. So start early, don't wait until last min. Good luck on your exam :)
  7. At least 6 months, according to CNO
  8. Hello Dr [Toronto School of Health.com], I took your CRNE prep course starting in Aug and you had mentioned that nobody tells you how they did. I wanted to let you know that I PASSED!!!! The course was amamzing!!! So many of the questions we discussed in class showed up on the exam. I especially remember the question about the chest tube. If it becomes disconnected to place it in a container of water. That was on the exam. Also, I had asked a question in class about when a pregnant woman can not have sex and that question was also on the exam. Most importantly, I learned how to address each question after I took your course. Once I was able to identify what the question was trying to ask me I was able to determine how to answer the question. The practice questions were also very helpful!!! Some of them I remember being on the actual exam. Once again, I wanted to thank you. I studied hard, but your course helped me learn HOW to study for the CRNE and, I PASSED!!! Thank you again. R.
