2015 Lonestar spring hopefuls.

Hi there everyone. I'm one of the 2015 hopefuls for lonestar. Just wondering if anyone has any information on application datelines for 2015 spring. The school sites don't happen to have that info(unless, I am missing something). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

I think you'll be fine with that score! I'm so worried about the schedule. I have two little ones, 7 & 4. Does anyone know what the schedule looks like weekly?

I think most lonestar schools are classes 2 days out of the wk and clinical 1 day.. but cyfair does it differently, i will love to know if anybody has details or any idea of the cyfair schedule..

Cyfair has classes Mon. - Thurs., Fridays off. You will get either a morning 9-12 schedule or afternoon 12:30-3:30. Clinicals start second semester.

@Liazoya - How did you find out the cutoff score? I asked and Kim wouldn't tell me. I hope you're right!!! Also, how many people have applied for spring? She wouldn't tell me that either

Thanks for the info amood06!!!.. and do you get to pick if you need/want morning or afternoon? what about the other semesters.. have they told you that ur schedule might change? how r the teachers? is it really that hard? omg tell us everything!!!..lol...

do you know how the program has changed? As far as classes? Because I took pharmacology in the summer. They said that the program classes as in the amount of semesters would be changing? is that correct?

We don't get to pick our schedules at all, they are given to us right after orientation. I like the teachers they are very nice but at the same time strict. They have told us about a lot of changes are being made to the program, but as always information is very vague.

Start working on learning how to do blood pressure and get comfortable with that, also work on dosage calculations if possible. It is alot of reading so when they give you the homework list after orientation get started on it, u don't want to get behind bc you will get overwhelmed very quickly with all their is to do.

Nursing212 I haven't heard anything about the amount of semesters changing, it is 5 semesters long for cyfair which includes summer.

I really want to tell you since I've been through it, put your application in and try to relax and enjoy your free time. It is out of your hands now and trust me you will have plenty of time to stress when your in the program. Pat yourself on the back that you've gotten this far.
