2015 Lonestar spring hopefuls.

Published

Hi there everyone. I'm one of the 2015 hopefuls for lonestar. Just wondering if anyone has any information on application datelines for 2015 spring. The school sites don't happen to have that info(unless, I am missing something). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

This was a Cy-Fair, too.

@dawno,

I didn't get an orange card after dropping off my application at Kingwood.

Did anyone that applied to Kingwood get an orange card?

ohhh... it makes sense.. when I dropped off my package there was nobody there, so I slid my package under the door.. so I'm guessing that is why they send it to me on the mail....:yes:

Hey Everyone,

I completed the HESI this past Tuesday and will be dropping my application off shortly. My score is lower than what I hoped for but I am hoping for the best! I will be applying with an 11.14 with Kingwood as my first choice.

@CG0320,

Don't doubt yourself! Glad to see another person who is hoping to get into Kingwood! Hopefully we all get in so we can have some friends before entering the program :yes:

hey CG0320 keep your hopes up!.. 11.14 is still promising.. stay positive positive!:yes: ... @James: I know is nice to meet some new friends before entering the program :nurse::yes:

Hey guys! I have been reading the thread the last couple of weeks and finally decided to register. I have also applied to the LSC Kingwood Spring 2015 Nursing Program. Hopefully we all get accepted! I took my HESI last week and I think I did well. My first choice is Kingwood and my second choice is Cy-Fair. I can't wait until I receive my response. I hope we all get in. I have worked my butt off and if you are on the same track, I bet you guys have too.

Hi txnurse25! What was your final score?

I'm confused on something... when we submit our app and choose on campus for our number 1 choice, is the other campus automatically selected? I just don't remember choosing Kingwood as my second choice and I didn't make a copy of my app.

Hey @JamesOakes I submitted my application to Kingwood but I did not receive an orange card. I gave my application to Valerie who is in charge of taking the applications. I did receive a receipt via email that my application had gone through. Hmmm I wonder if that is something we should be concerned about???

@CG0320 awesome! good luck 11.14 is a good score! :)

@Gabicita I think 11.38 is a great score! I'm sure you wont have any problems! I spoke to the nursing adviser who told me the lowest score they took last year was a 10.9

I just applied this week, but am not very hopeful after seeing what scores get accepted. I think i was still like.2 points below last set of acceptance. Looks like I will have to retake Engl 1301. Sucks cause I have another higher engel with an A, but only 1301 counts. Fingers crossed anyway!
