Hi there everyone. I'm one of the 2015 hopefuls for lonestar. Just wondering if anyone has any information on application datelines for 2015 spring. The school sites don't happen to have that info(unless, I am missing something). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to everyone.
@jamesoakes.. omg the end of sept!.. the wait will drive me crazy... that's good that u were able to apply to both.. is good to have something as a back up.. I just wish Tomball campus applications were open, kingwood is way too far for me. You should not worry with 11.6 u def getting in!
Hi! @ ddreese I just submitted my application today! So once I passed my hesi exam, I made an appointment with the nursing advisor Dr. Susan Hereford. And she guided me through the process.
It's a two part process: First you apply online and then you drop off a packet to Kingwood nursing department.
You can apply online when you go to Lone Star College King wood nursing website, there will be a link, which says apply and you just click on the link. That link should take you to a web page, where you can sign in and apply. After that just follow the instructions. The second part is dropping off the packet that they need which includes the following: A hard copy of the online application and your Hesi score sheet, both of them signed and dated
A copy of your Hep B shot record, your advising transcript and your FERPA, notarized and signed.
If you have any other questions I would speak with Kingwoods nursing department.
Good Luck!
@ddreese: don't worry about that rating sheet/score sheet because whenever you fill your application online it will auto-populate for you, and like scavila said after you are done you print that one out and also the application sheet sign and date. you have to take the hesi first before you do it because your hesi scores will be one of the info that will appear on the sheet for you... good luck with your test!!
@ddreese,
They advise you to take the HESI exam at least a week before the application period closes because it takes around a week for them to input your data into the computer. Your scores will show up automatically on your score sheet but I just want to make sure you can apply on time. Check in frequently to see if your scores have been input and then turn in the hard copy ASAP!
@ddreese,
Here is the link to the online application if you were having trouble finding it!
