Anyone applying?

I didn't get a receipt either, the lady said " I am your receipt ". What happens next? They will contact us when and where the orientation will be?

I just called & spoke with Valerie at the KW office and she said after turning in our letter of intent they'd be mailing us some info on where orientation would be held. She did not give a timeframe on when to expect that. It should be in the next week or two because our first orientation is just 2 1/2 weeks away.

@careangel did you get your letter yet? I come across this girl today that hasn't received her letter yet either and her score was 11.21xx. My score was only 0.03 more than her score. I am hoping you get your letter today!!!

do we still need to do the HEPB booster?? i know it was on that paper we print out but i thought we just need the three series?

Hi everyone! I'm new to this website and actually found it by accident when I googled "LSC spring 2012 nursing". I wish I would've found this earlier. I have been accepted into the Cy-Fair ADN program :D for this Spring and from what I've seen on here I'm excited to meet everyone when we have our orientation. I've already sent my request to join the Cy-Fair facebook page. Congrats to everyone who got accepted!

@trixrforkids if you have a titer done and you have the antibodies there is no need for a booster. however, if you have a titer done and you lack the antibodies then a booster is administered. hope that helps.

Hey Kalisefer! I finally received my denial letter today! I'm glad I know now. The anticipation is over. I have applied to 4 schools. LSC is the 1st to deny me. :( I'm not giving up. Someon'es gotta give......i hope. Thanks for your support. Keep me posted on your status!

@careangel I wish you the best of luck and someone will offer you a spot. I will email you later to let you know what I find out. I know I received a letter as an alternate, but I am thinking it is just a prolonged denial. It is possible I am still in the same shoes you are in the only difference is I just get to find out much later.

Does anyone know where I can get vccination shots for the chicken pox and HIB in the katy area without paying outrageous amount?

@flylikeabird Why don't you just get the titers? Did you have the chicken pox as a child? You can get a VZV Titer and for HIB there is Haemophilus Influenzae Type b Titer. It is not as time consuming as the vaccine. If you went to ele., middle, or high school in the US you should already have had these vaccines, unless you were home schooled.
