@ kalisefer, Thanks for the support. I hope you're right. It just doesn't seem logical for them to send out 2 different batches of letters. I guess there is no rhyme to their reason.

Does anyone know when the school will send us information about background check?

In case any of you are waiting on a letter from Tomball about the LVN program, I was told this morning by Tommie Byrd that the letters have not even gone out yet, but that they hope to get them out soon.

@hope The background check information will ben sent to your email. If it is like the one you do when taking the CE course to get the CNA then the process only takes 3-5 days, so I would guess they will send the email out once they have received everybody's letter of intent sometime after 10/28, but before 11/15 since they the background check is due by 11/23.

@careangel You know, I think that they had so many letters to print, fold, and sort and stuff in envelopes, the process is time consuming. They might have not been able to send out all the letters at the same time. There are so many pages in the envelope from Cy-fair you will know before you open it what will be inside. The post office had a holiday on Monday which also contributes to things not arriving any sooner. Then yesterday all the postal people woke up still in that holiday mode and maybe they kept your envelope because it was to heavy for them to pull out of their mail bag. lol Hope you get some good news, I really do.

Just dropped off my letter of intent at cy-fair and just like before when I dropped off my application, nobody was in the office! No lunch hours listed, no note saying when they will be back....so I waited and waited and waited:yawn:, finally a lady came and went to room 250j so I knocked and she said yes she did take them...finally...now back to the list...also I requested to join fb group for cyfair, I did find it, I hope you add me..can't list my real name here so I don't know how you will determine who is legit....I guess at orientation for sure!! yaya

I got my acceptance letter for Kingwood today. I am so excited, I can't wait to meet everyone at orientation!!!
