Congratulatins! to Skysthalimit and andrewgpayne and everyone else..

I still havent gotten my letter I was wondering when is the letter of intent due? If I dont get the letter in the next two days I think I'll ask the Nursing Department.

I got my acceptance letter for Kingwood today. I am so excited, I can't wait to meet everyone at orientation!!!

Hey Cy-Fair people, I have added the group under the following name: Lonestar Cy-Fair ADN C/O Winter 2013. You have to request to be added so that we can have privacy settings on here. Yay! Maybe we should meet up when everyone gets their letters :)
I am going in person also to turn in my letter of intent.

mrki... I feel so bad that you haven't received your letter yet. Thats torture! The letter of intent is due by Oct. 21 by 4 p.m.. I hope you get it tomorrow and if not I would call the nursing department.

@kalisefer - do you have any idea how many alternates are usually accepted each semester? Or even about the time we would start getting notified? I am getting background checked tomorrow for HCC and I don't know if I am going to have to get it done 2x or because it goes to the Texas BON if they will have it available for both schools.

@allinknots I haven't any clue how many alts are accepted. I think I might be the last on the list and probably won't get that phone call this semester. I do know that Cy-fair will send out instructions via email on how they want their background check. The background check is not just for the Texas BON it is also for clinical sites who require a clear background check before they allow students study within their locations. The background checks might be different between the two schools.

@allinknots The Texas BON will have your background check on file so when the school sends them the roster they will have your information. You can call the BON and ask, I am sure they have many other students in the same position and can give you a better answer.

I think its safe to say that CyFair is not going to send out denial letters. I still have not received a letter. I'm wondering if denial letters go out later. This bites!!!!

I am not able to join the facebook group because it's a closed group so it won't let me send the request to join. Is anyone else having the same problem?

@Careangel I know they send out the denial letters just like they do the acceptance letters. Be patient. I still have not received anything from Tomball. There are also people whose scores were higher than those who have received a letter and they are still waiting too. You will get something and I hope it is at least for an alternate spot!!!
