Anyone applying?

I also got the email in my lonestar email account, and I also applied to Cyfair as my 1st choice

I applied to Cy-fair as my first choice and kingwood as my 2nd choice. The thing is if you get an acceptance or denial letter it states on the letter your status of admission to the program at all locations you applied to. You get only one letter, not a letter from each school. So if Kingwood is saying that the letters are going out in the next couple of weeks, Cy-fair is not sending out letters any sooner than kingwood, it is a conjoined deal.

It is possible in your myLonestar that you have your major set-up for the Cy-fair campus so you received an email, whereas I have mine set-up for the Tomball campus.

@beth it is not going to help to bug the mailman if the college has not sent the letters out as they have stated on their website.

HHHUUUMMM wonder if we can file an admission appeal being that they have mislead us based on what their website states....You know that being mislead or misinformed by what is stated on the website is grounds for filing an admissions appeal.

The email was sent yesterday which means letters went in the mail today, at least from Cyfair anyway. We should be finding out soon

@ kalisfer...Where does it say on thier website that letters haven't been sent out yet? I thought it was word of mouth by our calls to bug the program directors?

What my statement was to mean is this. We should not bug the mailman if the college has not sent the letters out.

The "as they have stated on their website'" is referring to what can be viewed on the website under APPLICATION DEADLINE, where it lists that NOTIFICATION will be sent out in September, but have not yet been sent. A few people have claimed to have contacted Kingwood and were informed that the letters will be sent out in the next few weeks and that is not what their website states.

Can someone, ANYONE, that has received that email from Cy-Fair please post it here, so we can all see what it says????? I didn't get one either, but I would really like to see what it says!!

Letters will be sent out tomorrow. You should be receiving notification of your status soon.

Thats all that was in the email. It was sent yesterday.

Bug the mail man meant let's all stay positive...its suppose to be funny bc everyone ( including myself ) are freaking out about this letter. :)

I just called cy-fair a minute ago and they told me the letter will be going out today. I tried to find out my result but she said I can't do that... oh well time to stalke mail man
