Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

What brand stethoscope did you get?

For those of you taking Key online I have some advice. Do not fall behind. Do everything on time as she does not extend due dates. Very easy class. Lots of busy work but if you do it you will do well.

What brand stethoscope did you get?

Well from past experience I like the stethoscopes that don't have that double tubing thing. I like where the two run into one and they are really light. I can hear better out of the light ones versus the heavier ones...I got a cheap stethoscope it was like 16 bucks....There is no way I can afford a Littman like everyone is talking about.....However, of course I do not want cheap supplies but I am very comfortable with this stethoscope

So happy for you. I was put on financial aid suspension from max time frame. Hopefully they will approve my appeal.

My certified profile was accessed on Dec. 10th @ 9:28am by cy-fair... I hope to get into the KINGWOOD preferably!!! FINGERS are crossed. My score is a 10.9 . I'm hoping alternates will be hearing something soon, like before WINtER break! I think since the finals for current nursing students are all done. Maybe we will hear something before the offices close on the 18th. If not everyone please enjoy your HOLIDAY winter break! :):)

I wonder how Cy-fair and Kingwood are going to select their alternates, because I think the cut off score were different for each campus.

I heard there are 90 alternates this year???!??!!?!? I didn't think there would be that many!?!?!? ( I know I was on the 3rd page for alternate sign in) just waiting...... :yes::(:nailbiting::)

Mondays--9:30am-11am & 11:10am-12pm

Tuesdays--9:30am-11am &11:10am-12pm and than lab at 3-4:50pm

Wednesday 9-5pm till Feb. 12

Friday-Clinicals 6:30am-5pm

Pharm online

Do we have to buy the brand LANDAU for our scrubs????

I have that same schedule except our Mondays and Tuesday are diff. I'm Done by 12 on Tuesdays. :)

90 alternates for which campus? I know the sign in sheets for Cy Fair orientation were in alphabetical order, but there were still many pages. I am a V on the list of last names, so mine was on the last page. I also noticed that there were MANY MANY that were accepted that did not show up for the orientation. so that is good for alternates.

The 90 alternates are shared by both campuses. My profile was accessed 4 times by cyfair on 12/9.

Really? How was it, who was your professor ?. I'm having to take pharmacology with all my nursing courses this spring coming up and I want to Jevon idea of what courses is like online, I never had an online course before :/

I took the online Pharm class from Kingwood this semester (we can't mention names on here but you can PM me if you with) It was the most organized online class I have taken and I got an A. Lots of "easy" work but not a difficult A.

What does that mean? Max time frame? You were on financial aid for too long or something?
