lonestar nursing 2014 hopeful

Published

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Ya the stuff the school recommended is pricy but I have no choice. I was gonna see if my job would let me buy insurance for a cheaper price as a part time employee. And titters are only if you've been vaccinated in the past and wanna forgo getting the series.

The email said its in the conference center. I'm unfamiliar with the kingwood campus so I'll have to search for it tomorrow morning lol.

I am little familiar with the campus....The scc building is one of the two buildings I think it might be

So the SCC building is the one that has the financial aid and business office at...It will be the first parking lot on your right when your coming from 59 on Kingwood drive....

ugh I should be in bed this is crazy...Can't sleep

Ya same here lol. It's hard for me to go to sleep early. And thanks jennjenn0205 :)

While the excitement is understandable, it is just orientation. It is essentially a welcome presentation with school resources and a few hours of what to expect and what is expected. The real fun will begin in January. Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but nursing school is a marathon, not a sprint, don't get ahead of yourself and take everything one step at a time.

I requested days. I figured a lot of people that have kids, etc. may need nights, and I think I'd do probably do better in day classes.

Is anyone here. Not recognizing anyone.

Hey guys I finally remembered my login info, well I got accepted as an alternate by both Cyfair and Kingwood. I will be attending the orientation on the 10th. If anyone is going then too, let me know so we can meet :) I wanted to know if anybody knows how to get off sap. I have been placed on financial aid sap because I acceded the credits allowed in Cyfair and I did appeal but I was denied. Now Im worried because I'm going to struggle but where there is a will there is a way and I'm just looking for that way, lol, anywho I will be graduating with an associates in Science in December and applied at pvam just in case nothing happens with this alternate position. Well if anybody has any advice please let me know :) Oh and CONGRATS, to all those who got accepted :)

I'm at the orientation today
