Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

I starting downloading that stuff as soon as I got home and submitting it. Still have a ways to go. So ready for this part to be over with.

What questions do you have Jenn? Print the form out, sign the form, scan it to your computer and save as a PDF or JPEG, log into certified background, click on the todo lists, find which form you are uploading and click upload. Maybe that will help. Once you upload you must hit submit. It took me a few minutes to learn to share today but I finally figured that out.

That is probably the problem...I do not have a scanner...Those 4 or 5 forms are the just need to be filled out by me>

On one of the forms? Does it have to be notarized or just a witness?

I think someone just has to be a witness. I would assume that it would have said notarized, like that form we had to fill out befor acceptance.

Congrats! I'm am curious as to why I received an Alternate letter to Kingwood with a 11.19?

I am an alternate at both campuses with an 11.19 and a friend of mine is in the same boat with an 11.17... Just to give you an idea.

That is odd but I always heard that there's something else they look at outside of the scores that they done let in on. Hopefully y'all still get in though.

Hmmm idk...not that I know of except for GPA, which mine is pretty good...kinda bummed and a little confused about it. I just started reading this blog and saw some of the other scores so I called Valerie to ask??

I haven't kept track of all of the scores. Are you questioning because people got in with lower scores than you? I have heard of this happening in the past and the school said they made a "mistake." Not sure of the details though.

Yes, I am a little confused about scores lower than mine getting acceptance letters and me only getting an alternate letter. I hope I didn't do something wrong, as far as I know I did each step correctly.
