* go to lonestar.edu
* click kingwood
* click the link Books & Bookstore
* scroll down
* click [COLOR=#002955]LSC-Kingwood [COLOR=#002955]Bookstore
* click books
* select program
and then it's self explanatory from there. the site will ask you the class number and it will load all the required materials/ recommended for that particular class. But it doesn't show that you need scrubs and stuff, just literature.
OR, you can just click the hyperlink below "*scroll down"

I never wore a clog looking shoe like that before...I am afraid they will look weird on me
It's nursing school... Not a fashion show

Got most of my books, except for one that the bookstore was sold out on. Started my reading, and I'm getting some scrubs this weekend. Besides books and uniforms, does anyone know what medical supplies I should be purchasing to have ready for the Cyfair program?

Have you guys bought the nursing drug handbook??? That is the only book that I am missing. The kingwood book store did not have it.

That's the only one I need. I'm going back to the bookstore tomorrow to see if they have it, if not I'll have to maybe get it on Amazon. Does anyone know if we are supposed to get that nursing lab kit that's at the bookstore? It's in a red bag and 77 dollars. I don't remember seeing it in the list of things needed.
I bought the lab kit bag.. It has many things that I think we are going to use at school to practice. If it is not needed, I will return it.

I did not buy the lab kit. Heard from previous students that the stuff in there was not the best quality. I did not want to have to buy better stuff later. I just purchased what we needed from the list in the name brand items from other places.
And to the person who said it isn't a fashion show...you are correct. However, I have never presented myself as a slob and I won't start now. I like to be put together and feel good about myself so maybe the other poster feels the same way. Don't be so harsh on others. Just because you may not care what you look like doesn't mean we all have to feel the same about ourselves and our appearance.
