Published

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

You're welcome!

Okay I got my bandage scissors and penlight in such in the mail today. I am not sure if I got the right type but it will do for now...My boyfriend wants to go out and buy me a Littmann stethoscope after seeing the one I ordered. Lol....

Happy New Year Everyone!!!! 2014 here we come!!

Exciting! Time is passing. I'm starting to get anxious.

Everything is fixing to get real, soon

Good luck ladies! At what point did you apply for the program? After all pre reqs were finished? I'm taking a&p 1, soci, kine, arts, and my last math this spring semester. All I have left after this semester is a&p 2 and micro. At what point do I apply?? Thanks for the input an sorry for the silly question, the nursing advisor blew me off when I went to speak to her, she was quick to get back to her convo with her co-worker :-/

Hi Ashley! I applied after all pre-reqs.

Ashley, I applied when I was done with all my pre-req's...Also I had to retake some courses to make sure I had A's in those 3 main classes. I took the HESI and applied...My score was low so I really did not think I stood a chance, but thank goodness I was wrong.

Ok, thank you :)

Hey Ashley, I made sure to have all of my prereqs done before applying to the program... atleast have them all done before the program starts. My advice to you is do NOT take micro and A&P together. They are both very intense and the material covered in each class is something that you will want to know and remember because you will use that as a baseline for the program.

I wonder what the orientation is going to be about next Friday
