Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Does anyone know when we will be able to see the amount of loans we are eligible for?

I went to the bookstore as well and it did not look like that many books were out....Hmmm I hope there is more in the back, It looked like 25 boxes or so

I really can not afford to get my books until I get my book advance from financial aid on January 6th

was it cloth, or plastic? I have seen "milkcrate" looking totes that some professors use. I was thinking about maybe using something like that. Still haven't decided either.

It was cloth. I have done some research online and they have them in leather and stuff. There is something called a "laptop case" and it looks very similar...I am just going to the local office supply store to have a look. I looked at the back pack on wheels at the bookstore today and it's something that won't work if you want to carry your laptop as well.

CyFair starts clinicals in the summer. This spring is a lot of lab work to front load with skills to better prepare for aforementioned summer clinicals.

Afternoon classes.

No for the reading assignment, unfucking financial aid in order to purchase said books. Prob going all eText and hoping the ADN program does not have a ZERO tablet/laptop policy in the classrooms.

I have afternoon classes as well, going to the bookstore this Saturday to purchase the books so I can start on the reading assignments.

classes registered. . . financial aid - in progress. . . books in their new backpack. . . a nice weekend planned with my grandchildren. . . all is well in this little world.
