Lonestar 2015 fall hopefuls

Published

Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!

Once you accept a spot they take your name off the alternate list. There is not a separate alternate list for each campus so once you make it to the top of the list you have to wait until someone drops out from the campus that you want.

Ok so if I get accepted to north Harris but really want to be at montgomery then what?! If I get on the alternate list for montgomery?

There isn't an alternate list for a specific school. You would have to turn down North Harris in order to be on the alternate list. When there is a spot open at any school they will call students on the alternate list with the highest scores first. You would have to keep turning down offers until they call with Montgomery. This is a very competitive school and you could miss out if you hold out.

Oh wow! Okay so I would really be taking my chances huh! Ugh!

Hey I'm applying for North Harris incase I don't get into UTHSC.

Question: when you print out the application and score sheet, is it supposed to look like a screen shot? I can't figure out how to print it in a way that looks normal to me!

Not sure as I haven't printed yet. Sorry :/

That is exactly how it looks when you print it.It's fine.

Yes, it looks like a screen shot. Just sign and date anywhere at the bottom.

Here is the link for the HESI and application deadlines for the different Lonestar campuses.

I was wondering the same thing, wasn't sure if I had printed right. I will be turning in my app to north harris after spring break! Super nervous!

Is it mandatory to visit with an advisor before submitting your application? I'm just trying to sort out what needs to be done so I don't miss anything. Also, are they a lot of students applying? Usually the threads are pretty active but it hasn't been much. Maybe after the deadline.

I don't think that you have to meet with an advisor. When you turn in your paperwork just make sure that someone in that office checks it over to make sure that you are not missing anything.
