Hello everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program with cyfair as my first choice. Has anyone applied yet? Anyone with a B in A&Pand an A in English get a 3.5 calculated in their score sheet? Mine shows up as a 3.4 so I'm not sure if thats right. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it ☺

It takes the GPA from English and A&P. A&P is 4 credits and English is 3 so that is the correct score. 21/7=3.4

Can anybody tell me what my score would be with 2 B's in English and 2 A's in A&P 1&2?

I have been looking through past discussions regarding the point system, but I am seeing conflicting information.

Also, I made an 87 on my HESI and I'm not sure what site I can go to that tells me what the points would be for that grade.

When you apply online it will calculate your scores. That is the most accurate. Only take the highest A&P and Eng 1301. Your GPA is 3.57. Divide your HESI score by 25 for a score of 3.48. Your application score is 7.05 out of 8. The scoring has changed from a 12 point score to an 8 point total so you are not going to see the same scores as previous hopefuls.

Hi everyone. I am also applying this period. I am so nervous with this new points system!! I am in my last class right now (micro) I have a B in English and As in Anatomy. I have scheduled my HESI for a couple weeks from now. Been studying over winter break and in between my classes now so I hope I am ready. I am applying to Tomball, Montgomery, and CyFair.

Took the Hesi in December, didn't study much. It was actaully pretty easy to be honest but I decided to take it a second time to get a better score. And the only difference on the scoring system is they took away the 4 points for the amount of hours completed...I think by now in the process, most people would have enough hours to earn 4 points toward that. So I took my scores and added 4 points, as I have many hours , just to see if it compared to past semesters... (when they still used the 12 pt system) Not saying it will work for everyone just worked for me.

Hello all! I will also be applying to Lone Star - Cyfair as first choice, then North Harris and Tomball. I did very well on my HESI besides A&P which I got a 76 in so I'll be retaking it for higher score and then applying soon after that.
