Lonestar 2015 fall hopefuls

Published

Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!

No. You have to be there with in certain hours though so call and ask what hours they offer it.

Ok I sure will. Thank you. I have been studying for a little over a week do u mind me asking how long have you been studying for the hesi?.

Hey ladies so I took the hesi today. I do feel like all my studying paid off. I currently have a 6.9 out of 8 points so I think im going to re take it in 60 days which gives me enough time before the applications are due! Oh and I had been studying for like a month.

Wow. That is great! Congrats! If u don't mind sharing how was the a&p part that's what has me nervous.

To be honest, it was kinda difficult. And I just got done with ap1 and have taken ap2 twice. :|

Oh no... don't say that.. lol :( I think you are going to be fine with those points because this is there first year doing the 8 point system and well I went today to speak with the academic advisor for nursing and she didn't tell me the lowest number they will take but she did say that really no one gets a perfect score so I would not feel discourage plus like I said fifirst year with this point system. I am hoping they cut off at 6.. I think you should stay positive.. but if you do take it again then just remember you have to score higher then the first try because that's the one that will count.

Helalockwood: Sorry to bother you but i am studying the circulatory system and I was wondering if you went far into detail and studied the human vessels and did you memorized all of them?... Thanks and again sorry for the bother

Hey! No not that far into details but it did ask me about certain muscles

What was your scores in all sections of you don't mind me asking and what did you use to help you study
