Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!
Yeah, they choose your schedule for you and you may not know your schedule until two weeks before classes start. The first few weeks are overwhelming. This is mainly because you're trying to find your routine and the amount of reading required is astronomical. BUT it is manageable! I have AM classes and love having AM.
Hello!!!
Congratulations to everyone who got in!! I haven't been able to make a post since January when the whole application process was beginning! My classes have been kicking my butt and keeping me so busy along with all the other duties that come with life LOL! I got into NH my first choice and sent in my reply on Monday to confirm my attendance for orientation on May 14. I hope to see you all there!
Also, I have a question. On the email for the offer it says to submit proof of a clear criminal background check is required prior to admission and more info will be sent out in the next 2-3 weeks... Do we wait for that information? or go ahead and get started on it bc on the link provided in the email for the nursing department. it says Please read and print the following two documents and complete background process as soon as you accept the offer of admission. I printed out the 2 documents for the fingerprints and background check. but I havent started it.
oh! and i've already paid and registered for the drug screen. Now im kind of lost on what to do next..
Congrats to all that have been accepted. The rules and requirements are constantly changing and I'm sure y'all will have more changes and tougher requirements than we did. Celebrate you have made a huge accomplishment. Enjoy your break because you won't have another one for two years!!! When you on break after this you will still have assignments to do. I remember being where you all are now, and now in two weeks we graduate. The time flies by so fast. Again, great job people best wishes as you continue on this journey!
@alarisealarise I would say start working on your titers, physical, tb, tdap, influenza, cpr if you have not done so already or if you are a PCA or CNA you can get your immunization history from work and just update what is needed. With the background check if you need a Declaratory Order start your paperwork ASAP. Otherwise NH will send your information to the BON and they will let them know if you need to do a background check with the BON. Once that is completed you will be able to do your fingerprints. I was accepted to the LVN before being accepted to NH ADN program. So I have everything completed already.
Also I will be taking Pharmacology this summer at the Health Professions Building but I will be there Mon and Wed. But one of my friends who took her said it is only on test days that we go to class. But hopefully I will see you at orientation on May 14th.
Let me know if you need help.

OOOHHH!!!!!! We will not even get to choose the schedule we want. How sad. Yup I kew they were about that many classes. Thank you so much dwano for your input. How was your semester so far. I have heard that the first few weeks are hell because they give you so much to read and do. Can you give us some info on tips on how you survived it all? Thank you.
