Lonestar 2014 Fall Hopefuls!

Ok I know it's very early starting this but I am so excited I couldn't help it! Application period doesn't even start until January! My journey has been a long one and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so I am sharing a little of that experience here and I would love to hear from others as well.

I just received my clearance letter from the BON so I am clear to apply in January for North Harris and Montgomery ADN programs, unfortunately I missed Kingwood. At this point I have an 11.1 and I'm about to retake the HESI so we shall see what is in store for me. I'm done with all my pre-reqs for my BSN and I'm so ready to start the next phase of my education and get on with more taking care of people! It's been 25 years since I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Twenty years of raising my kids, taking care of soldiers' families and single soldiers and eight years of riding in an ambulance later, I'm ready to follow my dream! Watch me go!

OMG!!! Congrats guys I am so happy for y'all! I'm sitting here about to graduate with my associates of science ahh

Ok so this might be a silly question but are we required to bring a laptop to class? ? And the books are they online or are we gonna have to be carrying them to class?

Hi, you all! I hope all is well. Did anyone have their finger prints get rejected? I am going for a retake on Thursday. If anyone has any advice let me know. Also, I noticed on the physical exam, my doctor did not check off the gential exam because he doesn't do it. I was wondering if anyone had any problems submitting the form without the gential exam? Thanks in advance.

the dr that I saw put "not examined" the school didn't have any problems with that.

Hello to all!!

This is my first time posting! I was accepted to the basic track program at Montgomery (Still can't believe it)!!! If any of the other Montgomery students can remember or was paying attention, I was the one at orientation that kept going to the bathroom lol. Anywho, congrats to everyone that was accepted, and good luck to those who are waiting to be accepted to other programs.

Have any of the Montogemery students purchased or ordered their books yet?

I am going to order them sometime this week. I spoke to Necia (the lady from elsevier) and she said the bookstore should have the ISBN for the package now. When I went last week they didn't have it yet. Which session did you register for on the summer class? I'm signed up for the last one in July :)
