Lonestar 2014 Fall Hopefuls!

Ok I know it's very early starting this but I am so excited I couldn't help it! Application period doesn't even start until January! My journey has been a long one and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so I am sharing a little of that experience here and I would love to hear from others as well.

I just received my clearance letter from the BON so I am clear to apply in January for North Harris and Montgomery ADN programs, unfortunately I missed Kingwood. At this point I have an 11.1 and I'm about to retake the HESI so we shall see what is in store for me. I'm done with all my pre-reqs for my BSN and I'm so ready to start the next phase of my education and get on with more taking care of people! It's been 25 years since I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Twenty years of raising my kids, taking care of soldiers' families and single soldiers and eight years of riding in an ambulance later, I'm ready to follow my dream! Watch me go!

I was talking about the adn program, but i bet there is still a chance for lvn if people don't pay or didn't get all there stuff in on certified profile. I think the due date was just the other day. Fingers crossed for you baandrew!!

Hi guys! I've read almost every post on this thread. Almost. I'm applying for the ADN program for spring 2015. I also had to get a declaratory order from the BON and it took twelve calendar months to finally get it. Do you guys know how many students are accepted into the program at Cy-Fair?

I have NO idea why it took so long. It was so frustrating though.

I don't know if it depends what charges you have for them to investigate or if they are just that backed up. That was so stressful for me though. Now I'm just stressing about getting into a program. Right now I'm at an 11.3 but I'm retaking the HESI to hopefully get to an 11.7.

When did you do yours? My charges are rough so it scares me more.
